HR backed her up and asked why I was “annoying” my manager, telling me not to study and to just do what she wanted. It didn’t stop there. She asked one of my colleagues from Chennai to call me and say he was unhappy in the team because he wasn’t a good fit for the technology. I listened to him multiple times, thinking I was helping him by just hearing him out. One day, I suggested he talk to our manager since they worked in the same office and maybe he could get more relevant work.
We spoke over the phone, and she convinced him to accuse me of telling him to leave the team. I confronted him, and he admitted that he's not interested in upskilling, that he’s getting good pay, and that he has two daughters to raise, so he just did what she asked. I raised this with HR and management, but no one responded. Eventually, I decided to resign.
Oh god. When i joined this company i had a good work culture. Currently my situation though not as bad is the same. I have a senior peer who is not my manager causing similar troubles. She/he feels ruffled by my good work. Now I realise that there is no way to report these things.
dont waste your time... hr is of no use and no one helps in BNYM... find opportunity outside

When I joined a new group I was not given proper training or clarity . Team members were not forthcoming in providing information . I was set up basically for BE as the manager wanted to protect the old folks he went on a leisure trip with ! Useless work culture and environment !
