I currently do planning system implementation at SC level. Quite technical stuff and less PMO. What are my future career possibilities from here onwards? Can I keep progressing in the standard ladder and keep doing implementations, or is it automatically going to end up becoming more are more sales oriented and less actual implementation work? How does a sole engineer at a company go about getting management to actually care how production machines run? I’m the only mechanical engineer at my company dealing with a half dozen cranky production managers who think that I can “work my magic” on a machine. It’s not magic, just ignorance about the machine actually works. How to I get a manager to stop caring about the end product long enough for me to actually teach them about their own machine?

StockX shipment notification shows my Nike’s coming from Hong Kong. Should I be worried they’re fakes? (China is where some real ones are made, and some fake ones). They say they’re products are shipped to them and verified but the DHL tracking shows their path direct from Hong Kong to me in USA.
