Decide a color theme for your room (black and gold? Grey and teal? Whatever your color is) and fit all your furniture to match the color theme.
Typically your curtains and blinds will be a different shade of your theme (matching).
Think of what you do to make an excel sheet look better. Kinda like that 😅
I would. Especially a bedroom. It looks good especially if you have a lot of sunlight coming in.

Thanks both. Do I go to a store and ask them to send people to take measurement? Or is it that I take measurement and then go? And assuming I’m the one doing installation?

Stores e.g. Lowes or Home Depot will send someone to take measurements and once the materials come they can send someone to install too
You would typically go to Lowe’s and they would send someone to take measurements. Once they have the measurements they will let you know the price for the blinds you choose. You still have an option to choose something else if price is too high. Once final, they’ll put in the order and in a couple weeks someone will come to install the blinds.
You could also try blinds guy and Costco. They are more expensive but better if this is your forever home.
Blinds if chosen correctly can enhance the look and feel of your home. Find a local blinds store. Reach out to a couple to see who has better customer service.
Then sit down with them to choose the blinds of your liking. There are many possibilities. The way we chose is - 'Bandage' blinds for the main hall/living room. These allow maximum light to come in but provide sufficient privacy. All other rooms got 'cellular' blinds. The kids rooms have 'cell' blinds but with blackening , so they block a lot of light.
Ultimately, my suggestion is spend time and money on blinds and you may not need the curtains.
Also 'Hunter Douglas' has a 10 year warranty. My little kids damaged a couple of blinds. They either repaired or replaced them with No Questions Asked
