Wait until the lease is over then trade it in that's your down payment right there. About half of a down payment like 30 or 40 percent goes to salesman or saleswoman. You don't really need to put down that much like 5 or 6 grand. Keep the interest below 10 percent if you're financing it. Always get a warranty on newer cars yes it adds like 50 to 100 extra dollars on the monthly payment but you don't want to be paying if any electronic system on the car dies on you. Believe me the warranty really helps. Dealerships do take of newer cars for the first 5 to 10 years of their life. You sound young tell the dealer this is how much I want to pay every month stretch it to 5 years max. I know most people who listen to Dave Ramsey will never say buy new because it's a depreciating asset or thing don't listen to him. Screw them. Everything depreciates from your cellphone, your tv, your shoes. EVERYTHING.
