Go up to an AMG GLC63
(I wouldn’t buy a Mercedes unless it’s an AMG)
Nahhh
You’re comparing Hyundai to Mercedes 😂
Gv
Gv80
GV all the way
Saw a GV in person the other day, it was a head turner, and bigger than I would have thought. Go GV and stand out
Dumb
Why these two? One is brand new and I wouldn’t want to roll the dice with, although I, for the most part, hear good things. The other is probably the worst of the Germans in that small to mid size suv category. Agree with the poster re AMG and Mercedes. If you’re going to go with base model German, I’d go bmw or Audi first… and frankly if you’re going to go with higher performance of those, I’d go M over AMG, or just Porsche. Anyway, GV70 seems like a better value between the two.
Obviously not better than amg or M but with packages and turbo charged engine they’re not bad at all
Mercedes any day
yes it’a a hyundai vs mercedes comparison but it’s the GLC300 we are talking about here, hardly a mercedes.
I was in the same boat
GV70 vs XC60;
decided to go with a used 2020 XC60 (8k miles) since I did not want to pay for a new car in the market along with an additional $3k market adjustment fee. However I will totally buy a used GV70 a few years later

If you can swing GLC AMG, yes! If not, GV80
I have been looking to trade my 17 glc and my honda for a GV80 to get more space and 4wd which I don’t have on the Mercedes.
Was looking at gle450, xc90, and gv80. GLE was my initial preference due to their new infotainment and better self driving for my long drives. But it was underpowered even at the 450. The glc I have is much more fun to drive, just lacks the cargo space and 4wd I need.
Hard to stomach the price tag for Hyundai tho.
Lexus is a fancy Toyota, but Genesis ain't just a fancy Hyundai. You hardly find any shared components or platforms between them.
If you end up getting a Genesis don't lease. Lease payments assume way higher depreciation.
