I recently graduated from law school and have started my clerkship in the superior court of NJ. Once done with my clerkship, I’m hoping to work in employment law (defense). I’ve seen online that Jackson Lewis is hiring at their Berkeley Heights, NJ location. Can anyone give me any insight on what it’s like to work at JL? culture? First year associate salary? Typical work day? Jackson Lewis P.C.

Ugh so I tried this but not UK and it’s been tough. There are a couple of recruiters (I’ll DM you), but they haven’t been spectacular/able to really send anything my way (litigation). Likely you’ll have more luck with transactional if you’re willing to start from scratch. Litigation finance is also big in the Uk
Yes I read that Clio is specifically looking to build up their UK/Ireland teams.

I would definitely check out jobs in international arbitration. If you have NY or CA bar that is your best bet.
General litigation or specific area? Your best bet is one of the US firms who are likely to be more understanding. We have 2 US trained litigators in our team in London but they did work in US first (1 year and 2 years respectively).
