Dear Fishes, I am in a conundrum currently. I have two offers. One from Deloitte USI (17.5 LPA fixed, 1.75 LPA variable and 1.5 L joining bonus). The other is from Infosys (25 LPA CTC. Permanent WFH. Negotiation is still on for this.)
Could you please be so kind as to help me decide which one to choose?

Yes, you are absolutely right. My only concern is, if it's a high paying job like data engineer, because I don't know anyone from SAP field, so don't have much knowledge about career graph

I hope you know there was no SAP CPI 10 years ago... HCI (old and first name of CPI) started in 2015 only. Before that only PI/PO was used everywhere as SAP middlware.
So you cannot comment about any technology's future whether it will be future proof or not.
I never thought SAP ECC will be on the verge of becoming obsolete by 2027. Same with PI/PO till 5 years ago.
Now SAP RISE is replacing Cloud S4 model as well. Forget about ECC. In short technology evolving fast.
Coming to main question - Data engineer job will pay more than SAP modules job.
SAP modules job are important, good salary provider and will be found only in companies using SAP as an ERP product.
While Data Engineer job has no such dependency on SAP product.
