Can anyone who has some longer experience with Internal Audit weigh in? I recently applied to an internal audit staff position for a manufacturer after a recruiter reached out to me about it. It looks like a good move in the immediate, but with only 1 year of experience in public, I'm worried it might be worse long term, particularly when it comes to earning potential. Am I right with this assumption? I would love any insights people are willing to offer, thanks.

I’m not from an English speaking country but I am watching a tv show and businessmen walk into a room and instead of greeting eachother, everyone says each person’s first name in lieu of hi, however in my experience working in the states, I haven’t seen anyone do this, it’s always hi or good afternoon or some other greeting first THEN they say their first name. is it also appropriate to omit the greeting?

What level and service line were you at the big 4, and what percent salary increase did you get once you left? I’m a S1>S2, and the offers I’m seeing are around 10%-15% higher, which feels a little low. But maybe I’m being unrealistic.
