Thinking about enrolling into a JD program , I’m 26, CPA, in a lcol area, at at small firm. What is to be expected at a school level and bar level?

Not interested in going up any further to MD/Partner. I’m content at my current level with my work/life balance.

I’m in-house at a small company (60 people), started right out of law school about 5 years ago. We had a legal team of 5 then. Everyone has left and we just hired a new GC. I went from $70k to $100k a little over a year ago. One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

Has anybody experience in giving up the LPR status after leaving the US for work and residency in another country/homecountry?
