Looking to get into SaaS sales but my experience is in construction and fine furniture (I was a sales manager and was able to lead my team of 4 people to consistently hit 450k monthly targets). Hey all - 2 years in consulting so far as a fairly "type b" personality - relaxed, uncompetitive, enjoy socializing with my colleagues. To be clear, this is not the same as being lazy or irresponsible - I am diligent and do my work well.

Nonetheless I think we can generally say finance/professional services etc. reward "type a" habitudes on its face.

I moved to Bangalore to join a new company and realised it was shitty in a couple of months. Bad management, poor policies, no wlb, narcissistic CEO, consistently late salary,etc. Worked day and night for weeks to ship products.

I'm serving notice period and they're trying to give me a hard time just because they hate me for leaving. They want me to do things that aren't written in company policy documents and cornering me.

EoY - 4.9 Mainframe production support. Still 35 days remaining in notice period.
Barclays offering me 8.75 and Capgemini offering me 9.4. Both are fixed. And still lot of interviews are in place. I was really interested in joining Barclays and expecting that they will give atleast 10.5 L but they are saying no budget for that and asking for response tomorrow. Not sure what to decide. Please suggests me which one to choose.

Extremely bored. Accesses not in place for more than a month now. I have never been more productive though regarding certifications and learning new technology.

I called my manager today that i am resigning, but he was like i should be ashamed of myself , company did so much for me and in return i am giving this. So now i feel guilty and not able to resign. I don't want to be guilty for life. I should have resigned first then called.
