Even though so much is automated, there still has to be a stage change or something to trigger that automation. For the most part, I do get those rejections. But I believe most recruiters are just focused on those moving forward.
This is a pain point in the industry, my impression is that who has the buying power in the picture, does not see the value in providing a tool which allows it to be automated, but I think that it would be a great addition in brand recognition and reputation
You’re right, even a short automated rejection is better than silence. Most recruiters want to close the loop, but delays happen due to changing hiring decisions or slow feedback from teams. Still, candidates deserve timely updates.
