You can slow down the interview process with the current company while the one you want catches up.
You don't recommend emailing the other company to let them know that I want them over the other company?
What makes you so sure that you will get the job? If you already had the offer from the company where you had your first interview, then maybe that's the time you make a decision whether you're risking it or not. For now, you can just email the company or the recruiter regarding the schedule of the interview but don't make it sound like you are dying to get scheduled for the interview as soon as possible.
How did the conversation go after the other company contacted you? Did they give you any instructions on what to do or where to go in case you're willing to go through their first round of interview?
They reached out 12 days ago asking what time I would be available (emailed them and haven’t heard back). I reached out to them on Tuesday and still haven’t heard back.
They are a big bank, my guess is they are trying to drag it on to Q1.
