What's the best way to stay productive throughout the day? I often hit an afternoon slump

I recently joined TW some months back and I dont know why I think have made a wrong choice for myself. I am feeling like I am lost. I am not able to fit in in this high expectations environment. I am used to working in a place where we always worked by taking help from others and here it is sort of assumed that we would be knowing everything right from day 1. Also there is no pairing in my project. Any suggestions on what should be done would be welcome.

SIL and BIL told us excitedly last weekend that she was pregnant (had literally just found out, so barely four weeks). This week she tells us she’s not pregnant anymore :(. They did not seem super torn up about it and were very practical about it. We said how sorry we were, etc etc. should I do anything else? Should I not mention it again unless they do?

Do any real estate lawyers out there know of/can direct me to a ROFO agreement to purchase commercial property? Is it possible to be a “silent” investor (party A) with a friend who’s an accredited investor (party B)investing in a company? So if B is investing $50k in a company, and A wants to give B $25k of that investment, is this possible with an agreement between A and B, where they’re responsible for their own portion of taxes?

NFW- I just had a good laugh. Earlier today I was on a video conference call reviewing a Private Label Agreement template with a larger company who wishes to brand label products we develop and manufacture. How long is too long to try to push back a start date? Getting a formal offer early next week but trying to keep that big law bonus if possible. Firm pays out bonuses Dec 30 & I have a vacation scheduled Dec 19-23 (and was planning on working remotely the week after too). Ideally want to get EOY bonus or negotiate for a signing bonus but is it too much to push for signing bonus and those weeks off? I'm open to working remotely those two weeks but know that may not be the best when I start.
