I have 12+ yoe. I work in AWS with a 23L base, 13L JB and 5 RSU (29.8L ), L4. I am about to receive an offer from ADP . What band/grade would be great to negotiate. For ADP anything around 45L-48L including 12% variable (not sure about JB) is considered to be the right offer? I have another offer from Accenture 32L fixed, 10L variable, 6.4L JB. I guess wlb in Accenture would be more difficult than ADB?? What's your view fishes !!! Consider AWS and ADP in Hyderabad where Accenture in home town
Hi, I am new to Canada and currently living in Vancouver, BC. I was looking for opportunities in the Financial Services industry in the Metro Vancouver Area. I have about 3 years of experience in the Banking/Financial Services and HealthTech industry and worked alongside IBM and PwC in developing and implementing cutting-edge FinTech products for business clients of a Financial Institution and led the Finance and data science team at a Health tech startup. Let me know if anyone can help me.

One more thing to add to the NH shopping list!
Tbh I like it too.
Eh. I’m fine with it. I didn’t even realize that there isn’t currently tax on candy. Other states have taxed candy for decades. I’d be surprised if this costs my husband and I $25 a year.

It’s disingenuous for Healey to claim it’s not a new tax; candy is currently exempt from sales tax so this legislation would remove that exemption. It’s not like Massachusetts is going out of its way to impose a new tax especially created for candy, but it would lose the exemption, so it would go from not being taxed to being taxed (and costing consumers more) which to most people sounds like a new tax.
Why can’t politicians just shoot straight?
I think it’s a fair idea. No reason why candy should be sales tax exempt and not like most families individually spend enough that it’ll meaningfully affect their finances…and if it does and they cut candy consumption as a result, still a win for the state 😅
Taxachussetts. Chill with the taxes already.
Well, we tax cigarettes, liquor, CBD etc etc - and raw sugar is taxed too. Does seem odd that candy had been exempt (we don’t buy much candy). But agree - if it hasn’t been taxable and now it will be - that sure sounds “new” to me.
