Real question is why would you even consider them?

like

Not sure if you asking about FY Manager salary or FY analyst salary. A FY Manager in CapeGemini makes $110-130 in NYC

First year analyst

Former Cap here. Depends where you graduated from. I suspect ~$68-70K at a minimum if folks from Florida and Chicago were being paid $64K on average as a first year. With a signing bonus, it's more.

Is this the same as Capco?

No. Capco and Capgemini are different. Capgemini bought EY Consulting in 2000 or 2001. Acquired great IP and smart folks, but majority have either returned or moving to EY.

i was paid 53,000 my first year as an associate consultant in the insurance practice in financial services. Totally exploited me, but had to clear a bad GPA off my record and they were the only firm who gave me an offer because i never submitted my gpa. in the clear now as i left Cap and am on par with the market. Rule of thumb, don't work for Cap in the US, especially in financial services.

I am currently in oracle with very good work life balance, and the manager is pretty chill and does not ask updates like everyday , not a lot of meetings as well and quite recently got an offer from JP morgan. JPMC team is credit risk and role is not fixed yet, that will be decided after onboarding .Want to know how is the WLB there compared to oracle. Can I settle down in jp morgan. I am tired of giving interviews and looking for new jobs 😞

Does anyone know how much is the compensation for external recruiters? I have seen some of them worked in accounting before which makes me wonder if the comp is better. Like do they get big commissions for each placement they do? Just wondering…

After 3 years of dealing with the worst firm I've ever had the displeasure of working for, I finally landed my dream gig at a small specialty firm. The people at the new firm are all SMEs featured in and contributors to the most notable business publications in the world, less than 100 employees, better benefits, unlimimted PTO, doubled my pay and landed a senior role.

Keep looking for what you want and deserve. I'm happy to be forging a better path away from what I've had to endure.

Crazy to think about but I gave myself a $52,000 raise in less than a year (24M)

Started January 2022 out at $68,000/year, quit that job
Started a new job in April 2022 at $90,000/year, quitting soon
Accepted a new job for December 2022 at $120,000/year

Keep growing and betting on yourself, it will pay off. Make the right connections and people will see your value.

Looking for some advice on a couple of offers I have.

The first offer is for an Account Executive position at a smaller company with a base of $50k and another $20k in OTE.

The second offer is for a BDR position at a larger and faster growing company with a base of $60k and another $20k in OTE. Also some stock options but they aren’t public yet.

I have 2 YOE as a BDR and think I could succeed in either position. Both have hybrid work set ups. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated! Thanks.

Got a fat cat who has a timed/measured feeder. Still gaining weight. We were all stumped. Turns out my cattle dog shares her food with the cat every morning. Someone recommended a water spritz to get him away from the food. I basically soaked him for a few minutes while he stared at me and continued eating. Looks like I'll have to lock him up while the dogs eat from now on.

I recently presented to some potential new hires on a video call. DURING the call, one of the potential hires sent me a DM on LinkedIn saying "Hey ;) Maybe we can collaborate" What the hell do I do? It feels so unprofessional. This guy has already been offered a job, we were just trying to convince them to accept. But I am uncomfortable.

I was laid off during Deloitte‘s mass layoff in July of last year. I have worked as an independent contractor since and projects haven’t been consistent at the client I’m working for. I’m looking to get back into a big firm and was seeing if anyone would be able to refer me or help get my foot in the door. I was a business analyst for 1.5 years at Deloitte and have several years of additional experience which I’d be more than happy to share.
