I tend to get those feelings in the middle of the afternoon, which always strikes me as odd. I always feel most productive around mid-morning. But then after lunch it's like my mind just wants to take a nap or something. And that's when I start to question what I'm doing and all the existential questions and self-doubts seem to kick in. If it gets bad enough I get up and go for a little walk and have a drink of water and that seems to clear my mind.
Have a smaller lunch, low in carbs
I’m just an accounts payable clerk with an AA in accounting. I find making an Excel spreadsheet with a check list very useful. You can’t forget anything if you’ve checked it off your list. Helps me sleep at night 👍.
