I am currently practicing insurance litigation but am looking to transition into corporate law (M&A, private equity). I have heard horror stories about this practice area though. Currently in Knowledge Management & all of my projects support Learning & Development projects/initiatives. I’ve always liked L&D & just fell into KM after college (‘18 grad). Career goal is to be a CLO or in a similar role as I am passionate about building knowledge/learning orgs & ensuring employees have the right skills, knowledge, and capabilities to do their work. I know (& want) to transition to HC or LD focused work in the next 2yrs. Advice on transition? Do I need grad educ.? M? MBA?
