Client requested that I be moved off the account because of performance issues. I'm moved onto another team, but could have anywhere from 2 weeks to a couple months longer here. Yes, I haven't been doing well. But I'm disappointed in my manager for ineffective communication, and allowing the clients to drown us. I was a top performer for 7 years before he came on. I'm going to share this feedback to him, bridges be damned. I am glad to be off the account to heal.

Don’t quite follow what you would have preferred? We are a client service business and if the client asks for you to be removed (and you agree you haven’t been doing well) moving you to another account is the right answer. Had you stayed on the account the client would have been frustrated and any small error you made would likely have been amplified. The manager was right to move you to another account where hopefully you can succeed.

If you were a top performer for 7 years straight, that points to your boss's interactions with you as the problem. Try to transition to a new area if posible.

Which companies have best WLB, least stressed DS/DA roles? I’ve been suffering from some immunology issues and stress from work would worsen it, therefore I want to move to a company/role with good benefit (esp. healthcare) and great WLB (little chance of PIP, etc). Doesn’t have to be high-paying, as long as it can support my life (single) and long-term medical cost. Thanks in advance.

Can someone discuss the pros and cons of having a gym close to work vs having a gym near home but still would have to commute there, go back home then go to work. To me it seems more convenient to just on the way to work go to the gym, shower, then go into the office.

Ps: yes, I'm in the office.

Living in my parents house, which NEEDS a makeover. What do you guys do to make your house look cozier? My parents house is tiny, low ceiling, and no seperate on between kitchen and the living room. It literally looks like a grandma house.

Should I just use catalogs? Or should I hire an interior designer? Do you have any tips? My biggest issue is that it looks disorganized no matter what because there’s no distinction between when the kitchen ends and when the living room starts

What would you do if a coworker returned to the office 5 days after testing positive and did not wear a mask in the common area their second day back? Still within the 10 mask period per CDC. Office policy is to adhere to current CDC guidelines. The coworker moved to the back of the room approximately 7 feet away and laughed about it with the only other unvaccinated coworker. Coworker who tested positive also has a history of believing in conspiracy theories about Covid and the election.
