i’d leave the room/meeting, and let HR/my manager know i don’t feel comfortable or safe with people not adhering to health policies in the office, and making a mockery of the pandemic, so i’ll be working remotely.
it may have been out of their control catching covid, but it’s in their control how they behave afterwards.

What a creative solution
Probably mind my own business and go about my day..
Oh, I see it, it’s just stupid.
It is about this employees lack of respect for office policy and lack if respect for their coworkers. 4 of their coworkers are immunocompromised. One of his coworkers has cancer. It is just a blatant fu to the people he works with and for, and his arrogance is infuriating.

That’s why I’d elevate it.
I’d go home unless the office had made a major upgrade to the ventilation system since the start of the pandemic. The CDC made it clear that this was about the economy, not health, when it shortened the quarantine without requiring a negative test despite data indicating that’s a dumb move.
@Crowe1 if someone showed up with a common cold, no, but I’d avoid them. However, if a cold were known to cause long-term symptoms, in particular inflammation, in 15%+ of mild cases (and as much as 80% of serious cases), then I absolutely would go home.
Equating sars-cov-2 and a cold is analogous to saying herpes simplex 1 is just like herpes simplex 2. Maybe they are to you, but I’m personally less worried about one than the other.

If you are wearing your mask and you are vaccinated what’s the issue?
