Co-worker(not my manager but has review over some of my processes) sends me journals of his and other co-workers' mistakes to correct on the ERP. He's the type who would call others out for their mistakes, and even something as tiny as a space on a document would have it sent back to me for correction. If I do something right, he wants to piggyback on that to take some credit at least. How do I approach this ? I've told him before that my role doesn't involve correcting the mistakes of others.

I got rejected for an interview from Big 4 NY Audit, even had referrals from Manager + level people. 3 years w/ audit senior at mid size firm, 2 years fed tax at big 4, and 1.5 years Internal Audit healthcare. Currently self employed for a year to work on investing. Do I literally need a partner level referral to get back into Audit? I thought there was an accountant shortage.
