Completed interviews with Barclays and had an HR discussion around 2 weeks ago. Since then, no update.

On follow-up, HR says my application is in the “approval phase.”

Is this normal for Barclays or banking companies? How long does this stage usually take, and should I just wait or follow up more actively?

I am getting an offer from Nagarro as associate staff engineer.

My current CTC is 20,
Nagarro offering 27 max and 3lakh joining bonus.
Tech stack and yoe: AWS + NodeJS and 6.4 yoe

Intiatially they told they are considering me for staff engineer role but after interview they are offering associate staff engineer. Is it worth to join?

What is the minimum yoe required for associate staff engineer and staff engineer roles?

Interview is aligned with ANSR ( going to be acquired by National Australia Bank). Can someone give insights about NAB (National Australia Bank) related to its culture, WLB and job stability? There is not much info about NAB.

Interview tomorrow for a tax associate opening at RSM. Been working in a mid-size city (different firm) that is about 70 minutes from this new home office in a larger metro. How flexible is WFH or dual model going forward post Covid? Am interested in this position and going to tax, but not be able to relocate for family reasons. Don’t want to drive 700 miles per week M-F. What will dual model be like going forward? 1-2 times week, 4-5 month? Seems like tax was more flexible than audit pre-Covid

Got my MBB offer as an Exp Hire! A few insights from my case prep. I practiced ~10 cases solo using Case Coach videos. I'd watch the interviewer speak, pause the video, practice (speak out loud, ask questions, explain my approach, even time myself), then play to see what the candidate did, and evaluate myself for gaps.

I also learned the evaluation criteria and internalized the generic case frameworks.

I do work in consulting and had done live case interviews 5 years ago

Completed all the interviews and had positive feedback but before the offer I spoke with the recruiter (third party) and asked them if I can get to a certain compensation number as I might have couple other offers around that number but they got back saying the firm has decided to move on as they cannot match it. What can I do now? Still interested in the role.

Are interview case studies difficult? Is it done live or is it take-home? What should I expect in terms of content/questions, duration, difficulty?

I had applied in Infosys but the application was rejected after scheduling interview. They said they will but they did not. My ex colleague tried but refer me later but it says another application already exists.
