Crazy question. Took a job about a year ago job description was vague. I am now doing account management, QI, UR, analysis, presenting health info to execs, and some other stuff, for a Jumbo employer group. I work for a large insurance company but I am the only person doing this job. I am basically a jack of all trades for this employer. Am I doing health informatics? I create a strategy to improve heath for my group using the data I analyze.

Change my mind: the talk around things shifting to a 'new normal' is overblown. Society's collective conscience is too short-term to enact massive changes to things we are comfortable (e.g., global warming). Yes, it will take awhile for offices to open back up, flights to be full, etc., but within 1-2 years things willbe mostly back to what they are like now and this massive structural shift will have never materialized.
