Creatives, what do you do when you agree more with strategy than your creative leadership? Often their constructive feedback in reviews is really smart and worth considering, but our CDs just say to ignore it. I’ve even had strategists message me on the side a thoughtful critique or new angle, but mostly my leaders push back or make me feel like I’m undermining our ideas. Help?

I was in audit for about 4 years then switched to provisions. I’m now 7 years in and want a more steady schedule. I’m seriously contemplating taking a software development boot camp. For those who hire new software developers, does it make you stand out if you get your certificate from a university instead of a coding academy (like coding dojo or something)? I noticed the universities are a bit more expensive but is it worth the price to have a university on your resume or does it not really matter?

I was told to give one students “food rewards” when he does what he is supposed to do. I will only do this if others on task gets the same reward. Non-perishable, kid friendly, bite size food ideas?

Are people still live on here? I was diagnosed last year with ADD and I’ve tried two stimulants so far. I know they aren’t meant to be a magic pill but I’m still struggling with general tasks and feel like I’m doing the bare minimum. The Nurse has suggested I try non stimulants. What are peoples experiences with meds ? Did they work or not?

How does a person change their mindset to be more positive? I feel like I’m meant for my job, but blame all my life problems on it….having no energy, being single at the age of 30, etc. and it seems like a never ending loop. I look for new jobs, realize I have a good job then am ok for a bit then start it all over again. When I’m off of work I’m fine and realize I have it pretty good. Only real negative is I can’t vacation with my family in March due to my busy time.
