Hi fishes,
Any guess how many people are laid off from Publicis sapient in past few days? Really scared for my future as I'm also under probation period and deeply regret for my choice of joining this firm...I don't understand why were they recruiting peeps when they were short of projects. Publicis Sapient

Since when was it Decatur? I thought it was all those northern suburbs - Johns Creek, Alpharetta, East Cobb, Suwanee, Cumming, maybe Lawrenceville. These are considered the cream for public schools is what I have heard. Idk if it is a demographic thing but most education conscious Asians prefer these places.
CSD have consistently been regarded among the best in the state, certainly within the perimeter, for a long time.
Decatur schools are great. In Non-Decatur East Atlanta, you’ll be in CoA schools, unless you get into Drew Charter (requiring residence in East Lake or Kirkwood).
Decatur now offers tuition enrollment FYI. So you could live in East Atlanta and send your kids there. Don't know the exact rates but I think it's still a lot cheaper than private school
Private school
Decatur has really great schools.
Also Atlanta Public Schools are really great as well. I understand the hesitancy, but I think especially on the east side of Atlanta the concern is overblown. Mary Lin is one of the best in the state. Same with Springdale. Parkside and Burgess. APS has a very tight knit school community and experience. Charter is also an option, but really have loved APS a lot.
Druid Hills - DeKalb not Decatur or APS schools (Fernbank Elementary) are also great.
