currently doom spiraling because i spent about 10 years in a dead-end post at a government society that's posing as a tech consultancy startup for state departments and numbed my mind to everything else so i didn't realise i made a terrible mistake until it was too late. no increment for 3+ years, stuck doing 3+ senior roles at the price of one junior role. to anyone else having a rough time - know that it can truly get worse, so keep your head up.
