Currently evaluating a job opportunity and soliciting advice or feedback. Currently an SM in B4 FDD. Received an offer for a CFO role at a family office. Base comp and benefits appear similar to current role, but the potential upside equity may be better if their investments pay off in a few years. Not sure if my path to FDD partner is clear and would expect at least 5 years to be in that conversation at least. WLB at the new role is harder since there is a wide range of responsibilities.

My average tenure at a company is ~1.5 years (with ~11 YOE), but each jump I've made has yielded progressive/tangible career growth.
