FDD during an economic downturn?

Has anyone here moved from FDD to M&A consulting recently is willing to share their experience?

To those at V25 firms, how do you view your London office in terms of the quality of work we get and overall importance to the firm? Like is there a perception of us being a step down or ancillary to the big leagues of NYC or not? There’s generally a perception here that L&W and K&E are the only US firms where London can even begin to compete with stateside in terms of generating l work organically but would be interesting to know what you all think? Be brutally honest.

How is IT M&A different from any other system implementation/integration?

Audit A2 in NYFS right now. Is there any hope for me to get into FDD now, and does it even make sense for me to jump at this point rather than make senior first? I need some advice. No deal experience

I want to make the transition to the firm’s Litigation department because I want to practice international arbitration. What are your thoughts on the Scrum Master role? I’ve worked with a few now and out of 5 of them, only 1 seemed to be of any help. Most of the time we have to explain every detail multiple times and they still don’t understand what we’re doing. I feel that the role should be reserved for employees with experience in the systems they work in.

General question: Is there any room in corporate America for real, actionable DE&I discussions and initiatives? I've observed so many corporate versions become an advertising strategy (SM posts, diversity reports) without doing the actual work (increasing representation in senior leadership, salary analyses, having an effective reporting system for bias).
