I have a love-hate relationship with DU.
After uploading documents in Bosch First Services one week ago, there was no update from them, when I replied to them via mail - They said we will get back to you.Is this sign of getting compensation breakup or they looking for other candidates.I have offer from CGI and only 3 days is remaining to accept. What should I do in this case?As CGI has said if you don't join after accepting offer we will blacklist you.

That's the eternal question. There are side gigs you can pick up online and people do make some money that way. But there are a huge amount of scams operating where people are offered positions that do not really exist. Most of the scams are designed to get access to someone's financial information. If you find gigs at someplace like Upwork there's a good chance it'll be legit. But if people just approach you from out of left field offering an online gig, be very wary.
I've been looking for a legitimate side business or side hustle for a while and it seems like a lot of them are either incredibly low-paying or scams. It would be great to be able to bring in a few extra hundred dollars a month, but every time I think I found an awesome side gig, they ask me to download Signal or send them a check for equipment. And I know that both of those things are classic scam warnings. So I'm still looking as well.
Be aware that scammers are on job boards. If a job appears to be too good to be true, it probably is. Again, do your due diligence. Check the company website to see if the company is legitimate. Look them up on Glassdoor.
Ways to identify scammers on job boards: Scammers may offer to hire you on the same day, the person communicating with you is using a Gmail address, they are offering to send you equipment, but you need to pay the shipping so they will need your banking information. The company address when looked up on Google maps does not look like a business. Stay clear of these red flags.
Good Luck
It really depends on the job you're talking about. In general, unfortunately, I'd say no. Almost every job offering remote flexibility and daily pay is a scam. There are definitely legitimate work from home jobs available, they're just a lot harder to come by.
99% of them are scams. If they are trying to get your attention, they are DEFINITELY a scam. I got my start on Upwork, though it's a lot difficult to build up clientele now than it was a few years ago. I also sell stuff on ebay which is great if you have some extra space and ideally knowledge about a niche.
Some of them are legit, but there are a lot of scams out there. Is there something specific you're looking into?
