PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!
Bain & Company Hello, I received an offer as a Senior Practice Manager at Bain. The profit sharing range is 0-12% in the offer letter. Is it typical to receive the midpoint (6%)? Also, what do the annual salary increases typically look like? Any insights are much appreciated. Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group McKinsey & Company

And I thought I was a hard worker, my hat's off to you OP!
Thank you very much! I try but am not perfect by any means.
You probably want something that you can do from home behind a desk and not have to be running all around town. There's online tutoring or resume work you might be able to do, depending on how comfortable you are with other people.
Have tried Upwork but haven’t been able to get any of my proposals accepted yet.
Highly recommend sites like Upwork that have all kinds of jobs available. Keeps you at home instead of driving all over town, and has essentially no overhead cost. I have to work hard to find things to write off whenever taxes come around.

Do you make good money doing DoorDash and instacart? I have always wondered if it is actually worth it.
Have you looked into medical transcribing or bookkeeping? You could do this remotely!
Medical transcribing sounds interesting! Would you have any resources or suggestions of where I could learn more about it?
I think transcription is a pretty good one, also data entry but it can be v boring. Are there banking skills that you could pivot to freelance?
It’s honestly hit or miss. It was great during the pandemic but has since declined drastically. Mainly just worth it on the weekends. With fuel cost and ware and tear on your vehicle, it’s not worth it for some people.
I just do it for paying off bills, subscriptions, monthly living expenses, and Roth IRA contributions so it definitely helps out.
I work at my local fitness studio as a GM part time. I’m able to work from home, during the day or off hours (early morning + evening/weekends). I get in a few hours a day and it’s nice to have a bit of extra income coming in. It’s fun for me and i get a free gym membership, so it’s a win win
