Currently Serving Notice. My Last Working Day is falling on a Public Holiday (which was announced later as and when the General Elections were announced). As per company's policy, I am not allowed to take leave during the last 3 working days.
Not sure if there could be problem if my LWD is falling on a Public Holiday. For this, I had even requested my HR to prepone my LWD one day before but HR is not doing anything about it.
Not sure what can be done for this.

Long post alert; I have been interviewing with a b4 for a senior con role since Mar end. Cleared all the rounds including case study and got strong rating as well as good feedback. Fast forward to last week, the talent POC calls me up and informs that she has asked the business if the position is still open, because now they just need the business approval to roll out the offer. I immediately felt demotivated as to ‘why now’ after all rounds have been cleared (continued in the comment below)

Since that day, there is no communication from HR team of Wipro . I tired of sending multiple emails and when I tried to call he always declines my call.

Between director of respected technology is reaching me and he wants me to join ASAP and take over the project work.
