Happy with hikes this year?
I had an interview with Cognizant and then got an email from HR to fill in CIS form and also along with to send all the documents. After i send all those details i got an email saying the position went on hold and to wait until they revert.
Any idea that how much time it would take for the position to be released? They did not respond when i asked the same question.

No. Don’t leave. Your WLB is amazinggggg. I’d rather have minimum input (less hours) maximum output (great pay)
I’d happily be your replacement at old biotech company! On the real - hard to justify leaving that sweet of a setup for the comp you’re getting. Maybe you can do something on the side to fill some of the void?
Yeah I do have interest in the startup and it’s a space I like. I would say my dream companies I’ll require some form of “tech” experience. I’ve gotten to about 20 final rounds in the last 6 months only to be rejected and the feedback I get is “we went with other candidates who had tech experience”. Although this isn’t a dream company it’s a good one with a title I do dream about “finance and strategy”
Make a change in your life, to improve feelings of fulfillment. Either start pursuing side projects on the side or move to a new role (e.g. startup)
Don't listen to others who are not giving advice based on YOUR situation, but their own. I understand how you feel and if you keep going this way, you'll end up depressed/unsatisfied.
This is what I needed to hear. Feeling so tired of not doing anything interesting. I have a ton of interest outside of work but I want to feel fulfilled in my work too
I currently make about $115k a year not including random benefits and the culture is old and traditional. I am so conflicted. Work life balance at an old company where I have to eventually go back into or new fun tech company where I’ll need to grind.

Why not leave old biotech and go to new biotech, like Moderna, Ginko, Foundation Medicine, etc.?
That way you're doing finance in the same field but you will get more money, stock and definitely get involved in more stuff. Going from an Amgen, Genentech, Biogen to small biotech is an easy transition and you'll add a lot of value.
I’m looking more for a better culture I guess? Biotech tends to not be so fun. Unless you’re at a company like 10x in my opinion
Just make sure you feel confident on it as a longer term move and see runway for 2-3 yrs (e.g. room for growth, good team, etc). Role sounds exciting, good luck
