How did you know you needed meds?
Hi,
I had received a shortlisting call from Axis Bank. The HR told me link will be shared where I need to update my documents.
I didn't receive any link and HR confirmed that there is some system issue hence link has not come.
Now, it has been 4-5 days, HR is not receiving my calls.
Is someone aware about such issue with Axis Bank HR portal? Axis Bank Ltd

$210/hr on 1099 in NE? 12 YOE... Take or stay?
Make $120k Accenture now doing tech implementations, just got offer 200k TC EY business consulting. I love my job, have a great WLB (working 20 hours per week, no travel, clear path to M in about 1.5 years) - am I an idiot for even contemplating staying? What I would be doing is more PPT/functional vs Onestream/technical which I do now.

Absolutely. Cost of living is ridiculous but the amount of networking and opportunities makes it worth it
Hi there. Former DC’er, current SF’er - make the move. Biggest assist is if you can negotiate a relocation package. Also, tighten the purse strings for a year (while it’s not necessary, it’s always best practice to learn your new city before you just spend spend spend).
Made the same move as CDC1, and I’d likewise recommend it.
As they said, if necessary, you can probably just find a new role that has pay commensurate with the area once you’re here (assuming you’re looking before our inevitable recession hits).
OP, DC is dubbed the Silicon Valley of the east. If you don’t see those opportunities here then you aren’t looking very hard.
Yea, that’s not true at all. There are specific tech jobs that exist only at or around HQ.
That’s isn’t to say that DC is a tech desert, but it IS to say that SF just has more of those roles (especially if you exclude some legacy or military tech companies).
I would say big time no. Exactly for the reasons you are listing. Plenty of much better options exist out there that will give you a much better life, and much more useable money.
Which cities are better options?
Yes if you get paid at least $90k you’ll be good
I think it’s likely a matter of different saving/investing standards. I calculate how much I can afford after I’ve put in X% in my 401k, ROTH IRA, Emergency fund, loans, etc.
If I can’t live in SF comfortably after saving/investing like a person who cares about a financially secure future, then SF is too expensive for me. But sure if I spend most of that or only put away 401k money, then yes, there’s a lot more breathing room now. But at what expense?
Yes.
Come to DC area instead. Still expensive but not as bad
I actually live in DC. While the tech scene seems to be growing, doesn’t seem like there are a ton of options. Lots of small startups but no large progressive tech companies
Even towards Tysons /Reston?
Yes. I’d still say the same thing for the NoVa region. Lots of startups and old school tech companies. There’s AWS here, but not much else
Consider Seattle, but not much cheaper.
