Hard to beat a minivan for utility + gas mileage but we love our Expedition.
I was a “never minivan” guy. My wife convinced me to rent one for a family trip. We are now on our 2nd Toyota Sienna. They are just so easy and versatile, especially for young families.
Kia Telluride, great drive and good comfort
Second the Telluride. Have had for a few years, very spacious and good ride.
Toyota highlander. I still wish we would have kept ours. It was up to 220k+ miles and still going strong. Interior even held up with 3 kids.
Any of the Toyota 3 row seats. Only thing is check it has curtain airbags in the 3rd row.

Palisades are nice. Also like the Pacifica for the minivan route with the stow and go seats.
I’ll second the Palisade - my wife has the 2023 and it completely blew my expectations for Hyundai out of the water. Test drive a limited or calligraphy trim and you’ll see what I mean.
Contrary to the telluride, consider the palisade. It’s better rated and the features are outstanding (Hyundai is trying to compete with luxury brands). My wife just got one and it’s pretty impressive. I’ve always been a German or American car owner, but this palisade has really impressed me.
Minivan life is the best life. Toyota Sienna.
