I have received an e-offer for AVP-C12 at citi bank with CTC of 35.5 L (YOE - 7.5 Y). What would be the in hand salry.
Can we say that this is a good offer? CCTC is 25.5L.

Also can the car allowance component and LPA a can be encashed in the monthly salary?Please suggest the calc for superannuation.

Partners - Do you ever take vacations?

I have been at my current firm for about 1.5 years, and in that entire time the partner in my group hasn't been out of the office a single time. Is that normal? I can't tell if it's standard for big law partners to not take time off, if the dynamics for my group may be different (only 1 partner in the entire group), or it the partner I work with is just a masochist.

What’s the background of most product managers you’ve come across? Is it engineering, consulting, strategy, etc.? I’ve never met anyone who started their career as a PM and I’m curious how to get in it?

Need insights about citi joining process. After 1 and half month recieved offer letter this Monday and I have accepted it on same day along with joining date. But till now they have not initiated BGV process. Will everything take this much time in citi !! How smooth is the joining process in citi?

I recently lateraled into Big Law. Most of my colleagues are homegrown. My shift did involve a big change in practice area, and there's work that I haven't done before that I now have to do.

But, sometimes I feel stupid here, even for work which I have done previously. It's like I'm unable to understand instructions the first time around. And I have seen my colleagues getting annoyed by that. It's like I've become dumb. In my defence, I could say they're giving half assed instructions.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.

Having major imposter syndrome still. I feel like the minute I finally have a grasp, something changes. The law and nuances just seem overwhelming.
