@CD1 You can read the public reviews, but gist is that it’s a sweatshop with micromanaging leadership. That may also fire you “for no reason.” Or, you know, thereabouts.

Work here long enough you don’t work weekends. Not because I’ve ‘earned it’ but because I’ve realized there’s no point. I come in Monday. I start working and I get work in. Obviously there’s a few weekends here and there but it’s gotten easier. Best advice I’ve ever gotten? “They don’t know how many hours you’ve taken to get to your ideas”. It’s just advertising. You have to realize that both the good and bad reviews are probably over the top. The real good ones are from the company’s HR department and the real bad ones are from people who were let go. But also realize people generally don’t post reviews for anything they feel good about. It’s usually venting after a bad event.

It’s about the number of them. If a shit ton of people have left bad reviews, even if it means they’ve all been let go, it’s good to know.

How do you handle people’s kids showing up on video meetings? Screaming, kicking, hamming it up, (wasting time.) Everyone else is coo-ing…I’m not a kids person.
