Did you watch the debate last night? If so, do you feel Kamala Harris did well? She's sounding more confident to me... and could be our first female president.

I like her so much. I’m more of a conservative but will proudly cast my vote for her.

Agreed! I think the debate helped her image. She sounded knowledgeable (and sane) especially in comparison. My husband is not a fan of her and he even agreed she did well. Time to break some glass ceilings!!

She was superb. For whatever reason, people tend to belittle her and overlook that she spent years as a courtroom lawyer. That experience really came to bear last night. Once she got over what seemed like a little nervousness and found her rhythm, she was in command of the facts and the stage. She knew what she wanted to do and she did it.

Kamala came ready to fight! She landed blows around his skirting the substance of political issues, especially on abortion; went in hard to fact check him on his verbose, constant lying; and really ‘ROPED this DOPE’ for not having the best interest of our country at heart! He’s down for the count as far as I’m concerned…

She was fantastic

So telling that the trumpets are all “she got the questions in advance”

- there was literally no topic or question that wasn’t easily predictable. No curve balls.

- that she answered them well is called “she did her homework” and “she’s educated on topics” and “she was well prepared”.

- that he didn’t answer them well is called the opposite

- typical sexism also - a women did well - she must have cheated? Slept her way to the top? Got help?

As a 55 year old women in corporate America I know as fact these are the insults weak, mediocre men (and bitchy jealous women) hurl at high-performing women who run circles around them.

She owned that debate! She sounded a little shaky at first but quickly leaned in and was a total badass! I was so impressed!

She knocked it out of the park -- very exciting!

Very disappointed in the process. I think she did decently but it’s very apparent that she was provided the questions ahead of time and Trump was not, contrary to what the “rules” stated. The moderators clearly had a bias against Trump and only fact checked him and not her. So I am disparaged about what’s happened to our media and the weaponizing of politics.

She owned the debate. She is a career prosecutor and Trump botched health care, abortion and many other questions. He was also spreading conspiracy theories. Independents will go with him.
