Amazon L7 equivalent in PWC?
Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

Certs just validate your knowledge. They are not meant to make you better engineer. But you should be capable of passing any cert exams based on your experience. So get your certs as many roles make it a requirement
They don't. But from the look things, it's obvious you should get your certs.
It depends where you work. Often this is a result of hiring managers or HR not having any idea of anything technical so the certs just make it easy for them to see "oh there's a cert". I've really not found them valuable in actually getting a job anywhere except places with overweight HR teams and underskilled management.
25 years ago I was told that hiring is based on Certs. It seems that hasn’t changed.
