I do because I’m 6 years old and my birthday is a really big deal to me, a 6 year old.

Hell yeah do it every year. Usually try to make a long weekend out of it if I can.
Same same
Yes always! Even if it’s just to sleep in, read a book, go for a walk- do something for me! Not the shareholders
you get your birthday off at WPP
Yup. My birthday falls on a weekend this year but taking off the Friday before just because I cannnn
Yes. Especially if it’s a random weekday like Tuesday. There’s something nice about being out and about and treating yourself when not as many people are out.
Always!
100%
Only if it falls on a Friday or Monday and I can make a long weekend of it.
I’ve had a lot of birthdays. They have lost their luster.
I’m wfh today on my bday, does that count? Normally we’re supposed to go into the office. My manager let me wfh 😆
Haha I didn’t take the day off though. Honestly getting more things done than if I went in. If anything, I should take tomorrow off 😉
Yes. Always. One bad work birthday early on in my career and I vowed to never work on my birthday again. Non-negotiable for me!
Day off after bday is better, that way you can properly celebrate
Or both!
These are the words of my last boss: The work doesn't care that it's a special day.
Sounds like a boss nobody would want to work for
Every year.
I didn’t used to because I liked the distraction and pretending it wasn’t my birthday but this year, I might just enjoy it
We get it off!
I don't usually take the day off but the past 2 years were great because it fell on the weekend. I find being at work on my birthday strange because nobody there knows it's my birthday. I remember going in on my birthday and they were celebrating someone else's birthday. That's weird b/c either you don't say anything or you say something and it gets awkward.
