SalesForce folks, a recruiter reached out for an opportunity to interview for a AE position in my specialty. I noticed there is also an opp available locally for a Strategic Account Manager in my vertical as well.
Any one know of pay difference between the two, responsibilities/expectations, how they are viewed in the org itself?
I understand they are different but in my job today, I handle both roles so can go in either direction.

I'm building a sales organization for a SaaS start up from scratch, and I want to encourage a constructive sales environment from the get-go. Things like supportive teamwork, life time deal with value, and similar.

How would you design incentive structures for sales roles that encourage people and teams to support each other while also making sales leading to growing ARR?

What have you experienced that works particularly well? What doesn't?

My position in sales, growing existing accounts with my company, is being eliminated in October. I either take a bit of a pay cut to do something really similar but more stable on the service side, or move to new business (which is not attractive to me), or I find something new. Is it fair they are having me interview just to basically keep my position after 7 years of doing it successfully meeting targets? Or is it time for me to look elsewhere?

Would you leave a top IT company to move to a start up that is highly anticipated and is eminently going public within the next 2 years? This company would have higher pay and seemingly more opportunities for growth as well…need help!

Coming with 8 years of international sales, account management & shopper marketing experience, I’m getting Retail Associate/Sales Associate offers by CPG companies with as low as $18/hr and $0.46 per km fuel.

While I think it’s a great opportunity to learn about the Canadian market as a new resident, it would break my bank and I would have to buy the car for this roles while living in Midtown Toronto. It doesn’t make financial sense to me.

I got laid off from my job as an account manager at a SAAS company. I’ve been applying non stop for similar jobs in saas for the past 2 months and I’m not having a lot of success with interviews. Either not getting them or not getting an offer because they go with a candidate with more experience (I have 1 year experience). Any advice for companies to apply to or with getting an offer despite not having as many years experience as others?

Any idea when we can get confirmation from HR if we are selected/rejected . I had my 2 round completed and after that got a mail to fill some details... not heared after that

So i was clearly not paying attention to detail and did my 33 cle hours but didnt do the specific young lawyer division cles. The florida bar email telling me "hey you did the wrong hours" was in my spam. Just saw it. I am now. deliquent. Would I be able to just do the hours post it and be fine? This is alrdy costing me a literal fortune for these CLEs
