Yes and no. Nostalgia is always there, the people I remember not so much. Places tend to stay the same, but not so much for the relationships you had years ago. Enjoy the throwback, but don’t get caught up to much in it

I don't find it weird. My family still lives in my hometown. I usually enjoy escaping the concrete jungle a couple times a year to go visit. The slower pace of life and cost of living makes the trip worthwhile. I rarely see/hangout with people I grew up with as the successful ones got out of town and most of the folks left behind aren't people I typically associated with. I have my 20 year class reunion this weekend, so it'll be interesting to see everyone.
I visit once a year and take my wife. Small ass town. Nothing to do. Pop up for a weekend. Visit the parents. Eat at the good restaurant and head back home. That’s all I can take. Life literally stands still there. All the same. Been gone 15 years
Yup. Sounds about right. They might come down a visit us too, so maybe twice a year.
