How much do partners make on average?
Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

If I check in early, I can request a digital key, which usually takes hours to set up.
One advantage is that if your flight is delayed, they’re less likely to give your room away if they’re full or oversold. Depending on the property, you might also be able to get an electronic room key and be able to skip the front desk.
I usually check in once the flight is in the air since you can indicate your estimated arrival time. If the property still requires you to pick up a key, it’s often waiting for you.
You get the rooms on the floors you want, but I read that it’s better to check in at the front desk if you’re high tier because they could potentially upgrade your room for free.
The few times I got an electronic key they never worked through the app check in. Always wound up at the desk anyway.
I usually wait to see if I'll get an upgrade. But if I'm checking in late or want a specific room, I will check in online.
I prefer having a physical key so I end up at the front desk anyway.
I make my check in time at 8:00am even if I arrive at 6:00pm or later, because then they give me the best room available at 8, whereas by 6:00pm, many others have checked in and taken the best rooms.
But if you're telling them you're checking in at 8am what is available? I never use this option so this is unclear to me. When I'm able to check into a room a few hours early in person, they give me whatever is available at the moment I show up. If you're saying you are going to show up at 8am, don't they have to give you what is available at 8am or the first thing available that meets your reservation in case you do show up at 8am? If the first 10 people to check out have standard rooms, wouldn't you get that because of your stated urgency?
I’m not following either. You mean that if you have a Feb 1 check in, you’re requesting 8am on the 1st or 2nd? I’m not traveling this week to check but I don’t think most electronic check ins allow specifying prior to the hotel’s earliest check in. And most properties don’t allocate rooms until midday the day of check in anyway.
Most of the best upgrades I’ve gotten with high status are actually late night after most have checked in as they are more likely to give away an unsold suite at that time.
