Do you feel taken care of at your job or are your expectations just to be paid and get benefits? I feel there's this reputation of the government looking out for its own, but I don't really buy it. Is that a real thing?

I just expect to be paid and get my benefits. It’s an unexpected added bonus to have a great team and feel like management cares (even if it isn’t truly authentic). The less I EXPECT, the less disappointed I will be.

The pay is questionable, but the work flexibility is mostly guaranteed by the union and the opportunities for education are fairly substantial. If you enjoy the work or the organization you are working for there are a lot of advancement opportunities that can only be had by being in government. Having the union also means a lot of worker protection, which doesn't mean advancement by does most mean stability.

Government employment is more secure than private sector. The salaries are lower. Public sector employers do tend to be more "close ranks" to protect their own, especially those in a union. Another thing to remember is this: the government entity signs your checks, but you work for the people. If you ever start feeling down about your job, think about that.

The job security is unmatched. The pay can always be better but there is usually plenty of room to advance depending on the position you choose.

Is April month salary slip generated in FIS Global ??? Mine is not showing, when it will generate?
I doubt they didn't give me quarterly variable , I joined in mid February and even salary came less than previous month.
Did they deduct tax in April month salary of it is then fine because they didn't tax in March month .

Kindly comments if anyone have idea .

I am sick of being a realtor! I've been trying for 5 years and have only sold 3 houses. Where I'm from (small Southern town) nobody is buying. Most people's families already own homes and it's just a bummer to see all these nice houses deteriorating over time.
