Is it beneficial to have health insurance from both spouses, vs choosing the better one and opting out of the second? Why/why not? This seems like a silly question, but it’s our first time with both of us being staff in a decade. We have a kid, if that affects your answer.

Anyone have advice for advancing in your current role? My co-worker was hired in at manager level but somehow “proved” he was actually doing director level work and got a title promotion and salary increase in less than a year. I also went above and beyond my job as well (covering for him for a month while he was away on paternity leave) while taking on other projects outside of my job title and got zip—no raise or recognition. Which industries are T15 B-schools best suited for? For example IB, VC, PE, Tech, consulting, startups etc… Curious since I’m still in the part of trying to figure out if I just want to stay in consulting after MBA or what else is out there post MBA if I end up going to a specific B-school that’s known to land new grads in certain industries.

Going through a closeout. 50-50 profit share allocation, but my business partner has been using the venture money at their personal piggy bank (hence the breakup). My accountants say because we agreed to 50-50 shares, the leftover money has to be divided equally.

They spent $100k in the last month on random "work stuff" but bought a new car, etc. Now I have to pay for it with less equity return!

Just wanted to rant, I'll probably never go into a partnership again.
