Which industries are T15 B-schools best suited for? For example IB, VC, PE, Tech, consulting, startups etc… Curious since I’m still in the part of trying to figure out if I just want to stay in consulting after MBA or what else is out there post MBA if I end up going to a specific B-school that’s known to land new grads in certain industries.

Hello Fishes, I have offers from Deloitte, EY & Oracle. Which one should i go for. I will be joining oracle practice in EY & Deloitte. My skillsets include oracle DBA, apps DBA, DevOps, Oracle Cloud Admin, python & bash scripting.

Salary wise all are similar. Only thing is for Oracle would have to relocate. EY & Deloitte are offering in my hometown (i.e. no rent :P )

Hi, I am currently working at Bisleri in a quality control role with 6 YOE. My current CTC is very low (4 LPA) and I have not found any motivation or growth in my role since COVID. I'd like to be in the design industry (Graphic Design or UI UI Design). Currently I am freelancing in my spare time. My question to Design professionals is: how feasible will the switch be? Will I be accepted as an intern/junior designer in my early 30s?

I can really use some direction. My background, I've worked 2 years in strategy and am currently coming off an exhausting year 2 in investment banking. I didn't particularly enjoy either role and am not interested in moving over to the buy-side or some monotonous FP&A role. Everybody says there's exit-ops aplenty, but I find myself with less options and even more picky than I did as an ambitious T2 undergrad student. Where do I go from here?

How big is the gap between T2 strategy and MBB? I have an offer from a T2, I haven’t applied to MBB because the process is significantly longer. Also I am experienced and am being given a promotion at T2 vs probably taking a lateral move to MBB

I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) I’ve applied to PM roles at many biotech companies (e.g. Charles River, ICON, Paraxel) but only got 1 interview which didn’t work out. Which companies should I look to for an entry level PM role? Have any respiratory therapists found jobs OTHER than being a clinical RT? I want to possibly change careers, but I am finding that a lot of jobs (clinical liason, utilization review, etc) want you to have a nursing degree, not a respiratory degree. I feel like as an RT we are limited to jobs.

Currently SM at Bain (4 years post MBA) and was approached for a senior associate role in portfolio ops at a large PE fund. Been told 2.5 years to VP and another 2.5 years to director. Feels like the role is a bit junior but offers a 50% pay jump.
