There are a lot of ghost jobs being posted, for various reasons. Often it's that a company wants to make it look like they're thriving and adding staff when they're not. And even when they post legit openings, a lot of companies are just lousy when it comes to communicating with people. They get buried in applications and just can't deal with them all, so people wind up getting ghosted.
Yes, I feel the same way! It’s so frustrating when you put in all that effort, and then hear nothing back. It sometimes feels like companies post openings just to gather resumes or make it look like they’re hiring. It’s definitely a waste of time, and I wish companies were more transparent.
Yes, started my journey roughly a month ago and have almost 50 applications out there. Crickets.
i have ran into this issue. or they are vaige in the job discripion and benifet pay details, so i apply to find out more information only to get nonstop calls from their recruiters who dont sound like thay are statesaide.

It seems like it’s at a ridiculous high !!!!
I’m very confused about what’s going on right now… I don’t understand why I get so many new job postings every single day and yet I can’t even get it called for an interview… I’m a professional who’s been in the industry for over 20+ years with a college degree….
I’m in the same boat. These are challenging times. My personal opinion is companies do not want to pay for experience.
There 100% are ghost jobs. If you look it up it tells you some of the reasons as to why, but it is usually just the company being stingy about staffing and money. It took me 8 months to find a new job after getting laid off last year. Just don’t give up and don’t get your hopes up. Good luck, you’ve got this it just takes more time unfortunately!
