PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!

No. It feels like things are getting better and that we are heading in the right direction.
Not at all. Things are headed in the right direction. Stock market is at an all time high and unemployment is going down.

According to job reports from BLS, stock market, and consumer trend reports.. we are definitely in a much better economy than the previous administration. Facts don’t care about feelings

Most people on here are insulated from the impact of rampant inflation that has not gone away. Even if it’s slowed, prices haven’t dropped, and as a result credit card debt is at an all time high, which will hit a breaking point. The US financial position is weak, the yield curves been inverted for a while now, and the interest rate th market requires of us will soon be unsustainable (not to mention continue to make home ownership unattainable for many as the 10yr guides mortgage more than fed rates) and rent at least in my city has become unaffordable for most
We’re at the tail end of a cycle bigger than one president. Trump is somewhat involved in this but Biden was to blame too… really it goes back to the extraordinary actions taken post 2008, when this “K-shaped economy” took hold with unlimited free money for the banks and markets and upper class that never translated to real wage growth
The problem you’ll find here is that we’re all on the upper arm of the K, and things seem fine up here. It’s the 90% that are suffering that most fisbowlers decline to speak to
Seriously?
