So I work as an assistant manager at a restaurant for the past 9 months. I've worked in restaurants for the past 6 years science I was 16. Now I'm 22. I went to a trade school for media and film. I got a dream opportunity to work in the field making about the same or 10% more. I told myself the only reason I'd leave this company is for this type of job. A female friend of mine recently received a settlement in a sexual harassment action against her employer during mediation. I give massive kudos to all the parents out there juggling work and home life. But it’s starting to feel like I pulled the short stick by not having a kid. Scenario: US visa expired in 2021. Applied for a Canadian tourist visa to hopefully go for H-1B stamping in Canada once they open appointments.
Biometrics completed. Haven’t received any comm regarding my tourist visa approval. My partner already revived the visa long ago even if we allied together. Could it be because my US visa has expired? The reason I gave for applying for visitor visa was just for tourism purposes.

My H1 got approved but my passport is still being renewed, can i book my appointment with my old passport number and then update the DS160 after i get the new one?

I have a question related to working under green card EAD. I got EAD (expiring in 2 years), and plan to change employer. After 2 years, can I renew or apply for the new EAD with the new employer? My I485 is still pending.
