Just got a job at Deloitte M&A in Atlanta and am currently looking to buy a house. Would you advise I buy closer to Atlanta or the suburbs? I personally want to be in the suburbs but I hear the traffic situation is quite bad. Current consultants in Atlanta, how much time do you actually spend in the office vs remote vs client site? Would you advise I try and stay closer to the office?

You want a 6-cylinder NA boxster.
I would either get a 2012-2016 boxster S or GTS
The 2017 and on are the 718 with a 4-cylinder, you don’t want that.
Just checked - this is probably the best current one on the market in your price range.

Forgive me for trying to spend less of your money, but you could also look into 2009-2012 Boxster S. IMO the 987.2 generation is still the sweet spot with hydraulic steering and not terribly slow by today’s standards. The car is shorter and feels more nimble as well. The interior would not look as modern nowadays, but you can easily get a Sony/Alpine/Pioneer head unit with CarPlay/Android Auto, or get the Porsche OEM head unit retrofit that does the same thing.
Drive as many as you can and get what you enjoy the most. I daily a 982 and spec’d everything I wanted in it, have zero regrets 9 months later. S wasn’t enough of a jump to be worth it and GTS was going to be 30k more and with zero track use, I wouldn’t get the most out of the extra performance.
Plenty of love for the flat four in the cayman subreddit among people who actually drive them, but you won’t get the signature Porsche flat six or impress the hype crowd. It’s hard to go wrong with any choice, they’re all amazing cars and tons of fun.
