I worked as a pediatric locum hospitalist for several years and thoroughly enjoyed it- you are fairly much in charge of the dates you choose to work, they pay for travel, lodging, car rental, meal stipend. I chose not to attend deliveries or perform circumcisions.
It’s a nice opportunity to travel and I have made lifelong friends in the process. I have worked with Weatherby. Please pm me if you need more info.
Not too good to be true. I’m assuming this is 1099, if so you’ll pay a bit more tax and all your own benefits, but salary should still be higher since travel is cumbersome
