Im considering quitting my job, and becoming a substitute teacher in the meantime. I didn’t realize it till now but when I was hired my manager who I’ve come to the realization is lazy, assumed others would train which didn’t happen. They also assumed that after one or two projects I would grasp their software (procure to pay). It’s almost a year in and now I am being micromanaged, my meeting notes are being scrutinized has anyone ever experienced this? It’s a small company and I’m the only ✊🏽

My title means more than I do. I am a little frustrated. I work really hard at my job. I am the only HR/People OP. There is no one else. I am FTM trans and where most people make $120K+ a year I make $60K. I recently asked for a raise that would have put me at $95K. I know being a queer company we are limited in many things. They came back and gave me $5 grand a year to make me at $65 a year.

I do everything from Chief of People, to VP of People, I do it all. I am at a loss.

I fucked up my life. Lost all my life savings in day trading $110k .. my son with autism symptoms, therapies, treatment, family in home country for an year. Don’t want to live but my 2 kids need me.

No interest in IB/MBB/PE/VC but I love learning and school, and would love to learn from some of the best professors as one day I want to teach as well. Getting M15 MBA still justifiable?

Anyone out there quit their job to chase a dream like becoming an animator or podcaster? It’s always been a dream of mine but stayed in consulting for constant promotion. Feel a bit trapped of the “make more money” chase but have zero time for hobbies that make me whole.

I got a offer from @indegene for the role of Senior Manager and designation is B3 they are offering me a CTC of 33 LPA ( Fixed + Variable). No Joining bonus

I have an overall 10 years of Experience and an MBA from Tier 1 college, from reading online I feel that the Salary I am being offered for the role is less.
